XGR: budget deal reached

Deal OK’d on $5.5B budget | The Clarion-Ledger: "State House and Senate budget negotiators reached a deal late Wednesday night, ending days of contentious talks. Republican Senators and House Democrats emerged after 10 p.m. to a hallway full of anxious lobbyists and agency heads and delivered news of the roughly $5.5 billion budget deal. They cracked jokes and declared each other great working partners."
